You can use rpm -qa

again, you can use  'grep' to filter.

For Windows users:
RPM? pretty much like EXE, MSI package, like checking in control panel for installed programs.

For MAC Users:
RPM? pretty much like DMG package.

[root@vmgenie01 http]# rpm  -qa | grep http

httpd.VMGENIE-2.0.63-2

[root@vmgenie01 http]# rpm  -qa
