System Status

(Note I am yet to create script to create 'automated script' to pull images, screenshot. Once I do that will make easier to view and understand my website content. Meanwhile you may contact me using contact us page).

    The System Status page displays information about the storage system and its status, as described in the following table.




    The name of the storage system.


    The storage system model.

    System ID

    The storage system system ID.


    The version of Data ONTAP installed on the storage system.


    The number of volumes on the storage system.


    The number of aggregates on the storage system.


    The number of disks on the storage system, including the number of spare disks, and the number of failed disks, if any exist.


    The status of the storage system:

    Green–Indicates the storage system is operating normally. 

    Yellow–Indicates that noncritical problems exist.

    Red–Indicates that critical problems exist.


Filer Report

    • Uptime
    • Network interfaces
    • File system disk usage
    • System configuration
      • Data ONTAP version number
      • Storage system system identification number
      • Number of processors and amount of memory on the system board
      • Information about expansions cards, including:
        • Slot number of each expansion card
        • Media access control (MAC) address, media types, and status of each network interface
        • SCSI and Fibre Channel adapter information
        • Number of disk and tape drives on each adapter
        • Size of NVRAM
        • Slot number of each expansion card

    The Filer Reports page displays the current storage system configuration information. When you report a problem, you need to provide the following information from this page:
